Really nice people who work front desk. Clean lobby and perfect day sitting on the deck chairs overlooking the ocean. Hope they replace carpets and clean it up a touch. Could be a jewel again. Still worth it if your expectations are not the Ritz.

I have read many mixed reviews on here and I can understand why. First of all, I went technically off peak so many things were closed due to that. I got a beach view room which was incredibly tiny. My wife and I had trouble getting around the room at the same time. I thought for $400 a night the room may be a bit larger. The hotel was most definitely older and in need of repairs and upgrades. You could tell just by walking through that there was moisture in the carpets, had that musty smell all over. The food from the restaurant was quite delicious and the drinks were also made very well. Overall I had a good time, the weather was nice and the view could not be beaten. The good definitely outweighed the bad when it came to this hotel. I would proygo again but maybe pay for a lesser room.

Costly room to have a broken lamp, rusted ceiling panel and dirty porch furniture. Slightly disappointed but nice view from the oceanfront room.
