The hotel has a ...

The hotel has a great location right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. It is very clean. The pool is described as heated but when you arrive they tell you “temperature controlled” which is basically like taking the chill off so it was disappointing as we were looking forward to swimming. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! We booked late so we had to take the Eras room on the third floor. It would have been small for 2 people and we had 4 so it was very tight. They give the kids a TS swag bag which was nice. The door to the room has to be almost slammed to close it which could be disruptive to other guests. The balcony has a side view of the ocean but it’s small - there are two chairs and a table but they sit low so if you sit down you can’t see anything and it’s too small for two people to stand on. We had two slips of blue paper in our key card pouch but didn’t know what they were and almost threw them away turns out they were for a free punch from the bar which was great! Communication of that would have been helpful. The hotel restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner but the food and service are good although they have a very small menu. Access to the beach is close but small and you need your own chairs, it is connected to the public access beach which starts filling up as early as 8am. The hotel has lounge chairs and umbrellas that look out to the beach from above the rock wall. It’s very quaint so there is not much to do within walking distance other than going to the restaurant/bar next door which has a serious problem with bees - our daughter was stung multiple times and her friend had bees landing in her food! So plan to drive to breakfast, sightseeing, etc.

We had Hailey as our server at Down the Hatch. She was so accommodating to our children and friendly! The stay was great. So convenient for beach access and also has a pool. Would definitely come back.

Another amazing stay! Thank ...

Another amazing stay! Thank you to Krista, Susan and Cathy at the front desk, who were there to help ensure our stay went smoothly. We had a late night snack at the hatch and the patty melt and mozzarella triangles were delicious. Between the beautiful ocean views and the clean refreshing pool, we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!
