Wonderful location right on the beach in picturesque area. All staff were lovely and helpful. Struggled with luggage on stairs in certain areas… hotel is a little tired and outdated in spots. Our room had multiple ceiling leaks that staff temporarily stopped, and I hope will be fixed. Room had a very old wall-to-wall carpet, which made it feel dirty and old. Other rooms had nice laminate with area rugs….

I have gone here a few times over the years. It definitely has changed for the worse despite the price going up so much. This latest time we stayed in the section over the bridge so I dont know if that has anything to do with it but the carpets(wet and sandy) and floors were never vaccuumed once or swept in the 4 days we stayed. There was more sand in our hallway than there was on the beach. They used to have an outdoor shower to rinse off in, but that was gone along with the fact that they no longer serve breakfast in their restaurant. The complimentary coffee was also terrible. Our bathroom was also gross because there were brown stains on the walls. Luckily, I had wipes with me to clean it🤢. It was hot and humid in the main hotel and dining area. I will say the servers were great, and the food was good but definitely not worth the money anymore. How sad. I used to love it there!

The rooms are the only thing that make this place a 4 star the showers make up for it but the overall room was pretty small and a lot of the hotels around are a lot nicer, but the view of the beach makes up for it the people around are surprisingly nice!
