AS THE NAME STATES ...

AS THE NAME STATES it's the ocean view that is great. After that everything is average but still a great place. Restaurant food on ocean is great as well. Staff in restaurant were awesome during our august 2022 stay. My only problem with this place is that I just rebooked for August 2023 (11 months from now) and they take full payment on booking and no refund policy. I find that quite harsh compared to todays hospitality industry. I understand they don't like to cancel and rebook but they should only collect a deposit on booking and perhaps charge a $100-$200 cancellation fee. Without that I can only give them a 3 star. Why am I going back? It's because there is very little choices in westerly rhode island and even less if you want to be right on the beach, not across the ocean drive road. For us location was everything. It's also pricey from a canadian perspective for a dated somewhat tired Inn. But the benefits of this place makes it outstanding for us.

The restaurant was fantastic. ...

The restaurant was fantastic. I had a vegetarian omelette that was very good and they have great rye bread! (Weird note but it's true.) But the room itself? Not great. The bathroom door wouldn't close or lock. The lock on the front door itself always got stuck and made it hard to open it. And the hallways were way too narrow to bring stuff up and down. It was a mediocre experience tempered by some great food (which is an extra cost, of course) and friendly wait staff.

Facility is outdated. The ...

Facility is outdated. The pool wasnt in service which was a bummer because we booked this property for a pool because we have 2 small children, would have been nice to have been notified at booking. Our room was clean bit the rest of the hotel was not. We saw a lot of garbage outside and in the game room.
