Absolutely our favorite place to stay in Misquamicut! The restaurant serves the best food on this beach. The only pool in Misquamicut with fire pits and lots of lounge chairs. The people are friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend the Pleasant View for every stay in Misquamicut!

This place is a true hidden gem! The ocean views are amazing and worth the trip. The restaurant was great - limited menu but very fresh seafood. The beach is beautiful and we were lucky to be there off season so it was not busy. Rooms are small but cozy and recently remodeled.

We had our wedding at the Pleasant View on September 14th and could not have picked a better venue. From the planning stages almost a year prior, Cheylsea Joe and Susan were so helpful with answering our questions and so accommodating booking all the rooms for our guests. The actual day of the wedding was perfect, you simply can’t beat the view and the wonderful location! Everyone raved about the food and every visit we made to the restaurant prior, the drinks and food were always delicious. The staff at the Pleasant View was wonderful and so kind and everyone provided excellent service. When all the partying was done it was great to have a short walk up to our room to rest. The rooms were clean and have beautiful updated bathrooms, and again you can beat the view of having the ocean right there! I would highly recommend the Pleasant View for any party or function you may plan on having, as well as just a beautiful place to visit and have a great time at!

My husband and I couldn't resist making a return visit to Pleasant View Inn last week, having spent a wonderful week there in July. We love everything about this lovely hotel. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly both times we were there, including Joe, the General Manager, Susan, and the rest of the front desk staff, Glenn, with his cheerful daily greeting, and so many others. Our room was attractive and comfortable, with a little patio. Being so close to the ocean is a gift. The waves rolling in called to us, encouraging us to unwind and spend a lot of time turning off distracting thoughts, to gaze out at the vast, beautiful, sea and sky in front of us. The hotel presents choices..enjoying the beach, spending time at the pool, or relaxing on the large grassy area with lounge chairs above the beach. The location is perfect, situated on a very long, uncrowded stretch of beach, though not far from all that Misquamicut has to offer. And while there are varied things to do in the immediate area, and in the rest of this small state, we seldom felt the need to leave the hotel. Having a restaurant on site is a plus. We were sorry to leave, but look forward to returning. Pleasant View Inn has much more than a "pleasant" view. It has a fantastic view, and will continue to be our "go to" destination at the seashore.
