I would have given our stay 5+stars except for the issue of:1) bagged clean and dirty laundry all over and lawsuit ready vacuum cords everywhere, surprisingly we witnessed no accident 2) garbage of all different types bagged and put under customer stairs going out to parking lot. Do you want your guests last impression to be of that?😞3) smoking allowed by the pool? Or not policed at all? - never ever saw a single management type our entire stay! No Marriott!! However- It doesn't feel corporate if sold recently. Probably growing pains, employees at desk polite and reservations over the phone excellent! Room as requested was A++- spotless, nice set up and beds where great, nice 32-34 inch flat screen, small balcony facing ocean which was unbelievably close!! What's better than a great shower after a day in the pounding surf- it had unbelievable heat and pressure! Perfect climate control, extra large mini fridge which had sererate freezer! 2 free bottles of water and very nice upscale amenities make this shine! Lulled to sleep every night by the waves is hard to beat! Oh yes!! We'll be back. Yes, they need to fix a few things and add activities for kids and add managers who are on premises- all quite doable.

This place is unbelievable friendly staff from the Front Desk to the Housekeepers and Maint dept as well the Bar and waitstaff they all make you feel like you came home beautiful views from rooms and from grounds areas keep up the good work see you again next year

I have been coming here for 20 years. The new management took over several years ago. I prefer the old ownership group. We had dinner last night in the dining room. If your going to charge 25 dollars a meal at least serve fresh butter with your braed not in a packet and offer a salad with your main course!!! Cracked pepper would be nice. Love this place but need it to go back to that rustic time. Our rooms was finally made up by 7!!! Still a beautiful place on the beach.

Best spot on the beach. Ocean side room is a must - falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is worth the extra money. Rooms are basic but they do have a small balcony and fridge. Complimentary coffee and flavored water is a nice bonus. Nicole in the bar is great. Attentive waitstaff in the restaurant although small portions for the price.
