found this place while searching for a good place for 1st anniv. read lots of reviews on this and many others. decided here. view looked great but was wondering if it would hold true when we actually got there. it did.pool was empty and being updated which, is good since it wasnt even season yet. front desk was very friendly and helpfull, even gave us a print out of local eateries and directions on how to get there! enetered room...was a bit small but, we're not there to move in. first thing i noticed was it was very, very clean. checked bathroom and that was sparkling..even water controls were clean. the cleanliness could be a part of still being out of season and havent received any wear yet but looked great. view was frickin awesome. wife had never seen ocean before and this was just what she needed. if you reserve a room and want a view, make sure you ASK for room with view. i saw a few reviews where people said they had no ocean or pool view, maybe didnt ask? anyway, very nice place, clean, bright and a great view. cant comment on restaurant/bar because it wasnt open but then again, out of season a bit. so from looking at the pictures posted and you like what you see, that IS what you will get. we will be back next year for sure. i can only rate 4 stars on service,value and rooms because 1] we werent there enough to see desk/employees 2] were early in season so pool/bar-rest werent open and 3] a tad small but hey, who cares lol

I love the modern updates to the hotel! We stay Pool Side with a king bed and couch. It is an oversized room and we love it! The food is spectacular and they even have poolside drink service. The down side is that there wasn't a lot of handicapped parking spaces. Coming back at 11pm we had to park very far away. Like I said the food was spectacular but it is a wait, so one must be patient. This was our 11th annual vacation. Looking forward to next year!

What a beautiful little beach spot! Our room was beautiful and relaxing, our only regret is that we didn't stay ocean front. But, our pool side room offered a nice view and was comfortable, stylish and relaxing. Staff was so friendly and the food in the dining area was great. The surroundings are so beautiful. We will be back!

I do love the PV!! Due to my husband's passing, this was my last stay. We loved it BEFORE the makeover, but the pics look beautiful. I will definitely be returning. The room rates have risen sharply, understandable. But I'll have to see if that huge increase is worth it. I was there for dinner just last night (8/16/2015). The food is still very good and NICOLE behind the bar is a sweetheart, she remembered my husband and I from 2 years ago. She is the best! The one thing I have to say is, I was disappointed to see a line for the ladies room!! That is SO annoying. I totally get the handicap accessibility requirement, but if you're investing a huge sum of money for upgrading, why not ADD bathrooms instead of taking away. Nothing ruins a good time more than standing in line in hot crowded hallway with several other hot impatient women. It will not keep me away, but I was shocked that you didn't add another Ladies Room elsewhere than. Other than that, I love the PV!
