Visitors to the Watch Hill Lighthouse museum can enjoy perusing letters, bills and journals that provide fascinating insight into the lives and jobs of the lighthouse keepers. You'll also find historical documentation of famous local sea wrecks, as well as photographs of the 1938 hurricane and late 19th and early 20th century ships.
While the museum offers summer hours only, you may wish to see the lighthouse at any time of the year. As you might imagine, late spring, late summer and early fall might be the best times to visit this New England coastal monument. The Watch Hill Lighthouse museum is open from July through the week after Labor Day, every Tuesday - Thursday from 1-3PM.
